Dublin, Ireland

We didn’t plan this but oddly enough, the USA Men’s Soccer team had a game about a mile from our hotel against Ireland while we were in town. So we couldn’t pass up that opportunity. I bought a USA Vs. Ireland scarf, because duh, and off we went! I believe the US won 1-0 and the atmosphere was just different being there. Granted, we sat right next to the American Outlaws and all of their chants. That definitely helped.

Next on our list of things to do was a Guinness Tour. We’re from St. Louis, we’ve done Anheuser-Busch tours but whoa, this takes it to a whole new level. Like literally, you go up a bunch of floors until you reach the top of the building where a cold pint of Guinness awaits. The tour itself was really neat learning about it’s specific brew process and tons of cool things to see along the way.

Last thing we made sure to see was the Book of Kells at Trinity College. The library alone was worth seeing IMO.
