Awe…this was our first trip together!
We came for the Duke vs Kentucky basketball game for the Champions Classic. Not sure why we thought it was a good idea to go when we play each other as opposed to going when our teams play the other 2 teams in this tournament (Kansas or Mich St.).
Oh well, I honestly don’t even remember who won. That could be because Duke lost and I’m erasing it from memory….Not sure.
Either way, we didn’t have a ton of time to spend here so we spent that time eating pizza. Specifically, Lou Malnati’s. I know stating your favorite pizza place may spark riots but I’ll stand by this one. FYI, you can even order from them anywhere in the US and they will deliver frozen pizzas to you in a Styrofoam cooler with dry ice. It’s totally worth it and we order from them a few times a year.
