After Boston, we headed south to Cape Cod to finish out our trip. So I’ve been wanting to see a whale in the ocean for as long as I can remember. I saw Shamu at Sea World, and that was just sad. So we booked a tour around Cape Cod Bay in hopes we’d see some happy, free whales. We definitely were not disappointed. We saw maybe 10 different humpback whales and each of them multiple times. Just about everywhere we looked, they were popping up to say “hey!” It was a little chilly out on the water that day, but well worth it!
Cape Cod has a bunch of little towns within it and we stopped at many of them. Chatham and Provincetown we’re probably our favorites. Provincetown is the most lively area and very LGBTQ friendly. Its a neat place to go and wonder why more places aren’t like this where people are free to be themselves.
