Primosten & Plitvice Lakes, Croatia

Primosten and Plitvice Lakes National Park were two places we stopped at in between our major destinations but we enjoyed them so much, they needed their own page.

Primosten was a stop between Split and Zadar. This pocket-sized, coastal town, used to be an island. A leisurely stroll around its charming streets revealed quaint shops and cozy cafes. The best part? You can walk the entire island in under 15 minutes, and we did, savoring the sea views at every turn. We weren’t supposed to stay in Primosten as long as we did but it was too hard to leave. Our thought process was “We enjoy this place so much, why head to another town we may not like as much?” So we stayed and chilled on the beach there.

After Zadar, our trip was heading to Zagreb where we would catch our plan to start our journey back home. But first, we spent half a day hiking at Plitvice Lakes National Park. The park has different hikes to choose from and we figured Program C would suit us best. Covering about 4 miles or so, we were treated to breathtaking views and waterfalls after waterfalls. Sorry, TLC,  but yes, we were chasing waterfalls again.
