Our next stop, continuing down the Romantic Road, was Augsburg. Along the way, we stopped in Dinkelbuhl and Nordlingen.
Augsburg had a mix of older building and newer, more modern buildings. It had a downtown, city, type of feel to it.
Germany loves its town halls. Each city we visited made sure we knew where it was. It was always a very ornate looking building. The one here in Augsburg has a restaurant in the basement (Ratskeller, which means town hall cellar), and we had one of our favorite meals.
We only planned one night here and it was back on the Romantic Road the next day. Along the way to our next destination was Landsberg am Lech and the last four pictures here are from that town.
